The past couple of months have seen lots of changes for The Body Shop Consultants and their customers. And I think you’ll like them. In this blog, I’ll explore some of those changes and what the opportunities they present.
For Consultants and Customers
Each The Body Shop Consultant now has their very own personal website. It’s safe to say that these are going down a storm! These websites will look very familiar to customers, as they’re just like the main The Body Shop website that you may have browsed or shopped from in the past. As a customer, you can shop direct with me as you always have done, or choose to shop direct on my personal website, with free delivery when you spend £40 or more.
Consultants are also able to create events to gain free shopping on top of their usual commission. How cool is that? And with our super easy to navigate Business Hub, being a Consultant has never been so easy.
Fundraising opportunities
Having the opportunity to create event links has also helped us to support many organisations and individuals with fundraising. This could be a charity, or branch of a charity. Or perhaps a school, or sports team. It’s as simple as sharing the link for people to shop on, then a percentage of the sales is donated to the cause at the end of the year (or sooner, if you choose). If you, or someone you know, is fundraising, please contact me to find out more about how this can work for you.
The Body Shop at Home Australia
These changes have also meant that I’ve been able to expand my business into Australia. So as well as being able to sponsor consultants in the UK and USA, I can now sponsor and support those ‘down under’ too. And not only that, people in these countries can now shop with me too! Please check out my UK, USA and Australia sites, and share with your friends and family.
The Body Shop Consultant learning opportunities
Our very own learning platform, TBS Learning, is now live too. This contains bite-sized chunks of learning that Consultants who wish to learn more can dip into when they have a spare 3-5 minutes. Of course, learning is a very personal thing, with people learning in different ways, so I still take pleasure in offering the personal touch, too. In fact, it’s my favourite thing to do ????
New The Body Shop products on the way…
As if all this wasn’t exciting enough, we also have some amazing product developments coming our way too. Some readers may know that I once worked as a New Product Development Manager. It’s safe to say that this passion for development has never left me. It’s just a different industry. I’m also well-known as a tree hugger, and what’s coming certainly ticks that box too. There’s a reason that The Body Shop is a B-Corp company, and every day I’m proud to be a part of such a forward-thinking organisation.
