It’s August, which means that it’s only right that we start to talk about The Body Shop’s advent calendars, right? I mean, it would be crazy not to, surely?
Ever since The Body Shop first launched their advent calendar range some years ago, my customers have been excited for the day of advent calendar launch. They’re eager to get their hands on the beautiful advent calendars (and I suspect that some don’t wait until 1st December to open them).
Advent calendars make a fabulous early Christmas gift, that can bring joy to the recipient in the run up to Christmas, rather than on one day alone. They’re also great as a personal treat, or a treat to share with friends. I know a lot of my customers will club together and take it in turns to open the boxes (no-one has lost friends over this yet, as far as I know).
So what’s in store for those who purchase, or are gifted, an advent calendar this year?
This year it’s all about celebrating those who help The Body Shop bring their amazing products to you. As you know, The Body Shop has its own Community Fair Trade programme, which supports organisations around the world by providing work and a fair income. This year, The Body Shop is celebrating those who gather the ingredients, or packaging, for their wonderful product range. What’s not to love?
